1. Information we collect
Account information you provide (name, work email), organization information (org name, branding, location), and the transaction data you create in the platform: catalog items, purchase orders, invoices, CRM contacts and notes.
2. How we use it
To operate the platform: authenticate you, route purchase orders and invoices between connected organizations, process payments, and let you manage your team and contacts.
3. Payment information
Payment processing runs through Stripe. Vendeal does not store full card or bank account numbers; that data is held by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
4. Who we share it with
Connected organizations see what the relationship requires: a dealership sees a connected vendor’s catalog and invoices it’s billed for; a vendor sees purchase orders and invoices from its connected dealerships. We don’t sell personal information to third parties.
5. Service providers
We use Firebase (authentication and data storage) and Stripe (payments) as sub-processors. Each operates under its own privacy and security practices.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your organization’s account is active, and as needed to meet financial record-keeping obligations after that.
7. Your rights
You can download your personal data and delete your account yourself in Account. Deleting erases your sign-in, profile and support tickets and removes you from your organizations. Invoices, orders, signed contracts and fee records are kept, because the businesses on the other side rely on them, and they no longer identify you. If you are the only member of an organization, deleting your account closes it. For anything else (correction, or help if you cannot sign in), contact us.
8. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.
9. Changes to this policy
We’ll post updates here and, for material changes, notify account owners directly.
